Dear Friends, Creatives and Visionaries,

If you are seeking quiet, nourishment, beauty, connection to the land, connection to yourself, please come and stay in The Studio at Broadfork, located at the foot of Mt Adams, in Trout Lake, WA.  In the studio you are surrounded by life on a working homestead, yet, uniquely held with space for reflection and solitude. The experience is one of slowing down, and living life connected to the earth.  

The exchange is one of reciprocity. You bring us income, ideas, creativity, news of your adventures, your work for the world. You take home the connection with earth, and yourself, after your time here, which feed us, and remind us why we are creating this place. 

We are situated at the south end of the beautiful and unique Trout Lake valley. The studio is 300 square feet, with a view of the massive Klickitat (Mt Adams) to the north, and our young orchard to the east. There is a roomy 2/3 fridge, and small full kitchen with range/oven, walk in shower and bath- room, robust bookshelf, high-speed wireless, and private outdoor seating.

The space is ideal for 1-2 adults. It is possible to fit in 1-2 young children with you, but only if you’ve ever fantasized about living together in a one room cabin. Nestled into the corner of our pole barn, the studio retains its privacy, even as life on the farm goes on around you.

The Trout Lake Valley offers amazing biking, whitewater, walking and hiking Mt Adams, right out your door. Slip up the road to the Trout Lake Abbey for meditation in the mornings, or find a sit-spot right here on the farm. Uncover the ice caves, taste local cave aged cheese, pick huckleberries, XC ski and snowshoe, just a few minutes up the valley. Enjoy the scenic and beautiful Columbia River Gorge, White Salmon and Hood River 25 minutes away.
